About Me

…or: “Wow, that’s quite an origin story!”
I’m a writer and voiceover. I tell stories, and help other people tell stories.
I was born in London in 1984 to Anglo-German parents who met in East Berlin on Armistice Day. In my varied life, I’ve been a teenage web designer for an ex-soap star, been invited to the House of Lords, run a Marathon, and passed a driving test in my thirties on the fourth attempt. You could probably work out there’s something unusual about my brain from all that, but it took me a while to pin down. When I did, I wrote a book about it.
I have two hometowns (London and West Dorset), two passports (English and German), two cats (Amy and Polly) and one other half (Andy).
